As the day concludes at Miller Motorsport Raceway in Utah, Velox Motorsport continues to ascend up the official timing results.  Gerry Vento attended both practice sessions on Thursday as well as today's two official  Imsa sessions.  The team has already made enormous strides from the test days a week ago.  " Our Patron entry has served us well the last 2 days. We continue to bring our lap times down consistently in the morning sessions but with the track surface changing into the afternoon everyone is having trouble returning to their earlier times." commented team mechanic Tom Allen.

Team Velox pilot Gerry Vento commented " We are doing well, we're giving it 110% and the results are showing ...the track changes significantly as the day progresses but we are all in the same boat."

" I'm really proud of the job Gerry is doing. He has really turned it up this weekend and he seems hungry for more.  The tough part is the track changes drastically here. Many teams are adjusting on a large scale with huge camber and shock changes but their lap times are not showing any improvement at all. Many of them have compounded the problem.  The track temperature almost doubles between sessions.  We have tried really hard to keep it simple. All we have been doing is adjusting tire pressures fairly drastically with very faint shock adjustments.  The car remains balanced , just a overall slight lack of grip as temps increase.  I think we will be in good shape come race time."

Team Velox will qualify Saturday morning and race #1 will be Saturday afternoon. Race #2 is scheduled for mid day Sunday.
