To the Devoted Supporters of Shane Lewis, and we are too :) who have e-mailed us since we announced Shane will join Velox Motorsport for our First ALMS race in Mid-Ohio next weekend, I have a simple message from the movie Wayne's World.

Seriously, Shane brings world class experience, driving skills, professionalism and a larger than life personality that are unbeatable.

Hiya Gerry Vento and all of Velox Motorsports. I want to congratulate you on signing Shane Lewis to your team. Not only are Shane and his wife Crystal two of the finest people you will ever meet, Shane is one of the fastest and most capable drivers on the planet. Shane came to our attention driving a Honda Accord during one of his early stints at Sebring. We were all amazed by his speed, persistance, and determination driving a mid-pack car to the front, all the while not knowing if it would make the next few turns. We were all amazed he made it at all.
Shane and Crystal then (to our great fortune) bought a house on our block in Jupiter Farms, and a friendship was born. Shane’s name has been posted on our scaffolding a Sebring ever since. In fact, our corner, Turn 10 Sebring has been the Shane Lewis corner and Fan Club ever since. And Velox Motorsports has now joined our Turn 10 family. And you are in GREAT company, from the Corvette team to Ferrari, most everyone has paid us a visit.
I hope you’ll be pleasantly surprised when (at any track both here and across the pond) our Turn 10 People will find you and you will have an instant fan club. As Johnny O’Connell remarked at LeMans “Damn…you Turn 10 people are everywhere”. That put a smile on my face.
As you welcome Shane to your fold…we at Turn 10 welcome our new friends from Velox Motorsports to our Turn 10 family.
